The WSX water softener protects water pipes and connected appliances against damage from limescale. Operation The WSX works on the principle of ion exchange. The software controls the regeneration cycles based on water consumption and incoming hardness. Regeneration can also be programmed at three different fixed times of the day. During regeneration, non-softened water is available for use. With each regeneration, only the capacity used is regenerated (proportional salting), which keeps salt consumption to a minimum. The WSX works with a dry salt reservoir (water only enters just before regeneration) to prevent salt stagnation in the tank. A forced regeneration takes place every 7 days to guarantee maximum hygiene. The water softener can be operated with the O'PURE SOFTENER APP.
